September 3, 2024 – Wesley Fowler Jr., a 41-year-old real estate agent and friend to many in the community, was tragically killed in a triple homicide at a gas station in Bessemer, Alabama. He was reportedly an innocent bystander who happened to be at the Citgo on Fourth Avenue North when shots were fired just after 11:30pm on Friday night. Fowler, along with two other men, Christopher Eddins and Ronald Dixon Jr., were pronounced dead at the scene. Raukeem Cunningham, 20, has been charged with capital murder in connection to the incident.
